Microsoft has finally put SP2 on their download site. This was supposed to be out long ago, but Microsoft has backed away from a lot of it's Vista plans.
In fact they've even officially told companies to stop their Vista deployment plans and to just wait for Windows 7 (which has now gone to Release Candidate (RC)) and they hope to have it out this fall.
I was reading in another tech journal the other day that was saying Microsoft had better get Windows 7 right because a LOT of companies switched to Linux and Mac's rather than trying to make Vista work. They speculate that if Microsoft screws up again Apple will grab a huge chunk of the desktop market and Linux will grab even more of the server market.
Over the past 2 weeks we've helped numerous residences switch from PC to Mac and so far everyone has commented that they love their Macs and for pretty much everyone, the reason for switching was they were tired of all the problems Microsoft has.
